MTR Gaming Group says it's evaluating an offer from Jacobs Entertainment but is proceeding with its merger with Eldorado Resorts.
Colorado-based Jacobs made an unsolicited offer earlier this month that it says is 10 percent richer for MTR shareholders than the alliance with Nevada-based Eldorado.

Online gambling cannot come soon enough as the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) announces September 2013 Casino Win results for the Atlantic City (AC) casinos, and it’s not good news.
The DGE have released the finer details of September’s casino win data, and online gambling cannot don that cape fast enough as only the Atlantic Club squeezing in a profit, with the other 11 brick and mortar casinos report year-on-year losses.
Total casino win for AC as a whole was $240.2m in Sep 2013, compared to $276m from this time last year. That 12.9% drop in cabin pressure comes with the caveat that this year saw one less Saturday with Labor Day weekend asking to shoulder some of the blame.

The American Gaming Association’s No. 2 person in leadership resigned Tuesday from the organization she helped found.
Judy Patterson, senior vice president and executive director of the Washington, D.C.-based trade organization and gaming industry lobbying group, will remain on as a consultant over the next year.
